Jesus did not come to bring religion, He came to represent the Truth. Remember, Jesus was not a Christian, because
at that time there was no Christianity. Jesus was a Jew, His followers created Christianity. So when you read from
the Bible, forget about religion and religious practices, just read the words and let them reach your spirit as the Holy
Spirit wills. It's just you and the page. You can read the same verse at 3 different times and get 3 different lessons.
Again, as the Lord wills. You just gotta be open to receive it. |
Many Biblical scholars say that the message of Jesus was one of a stance against the imperialistic government
of the time and area, a stance that that was what was wrong with the state of man/woman. I believe that is
still our problem in many areas today. Jesus was a soldier--down to die for what He believed, and He did. |
Jesus...this guy a long time ago who died for what He believed...tortured, hung up by judges-to-be. To some
we're meat here...lust for power killed Jesus, His was
one of the first cases tried, there've been countless
others since He proceeded to leave. |
